Multiple Chemical
Sensitivity, MCS, or Environmental Illness, is becoming more and more
prevalent in today's modern society. As our environment, living areas,
and automobiles, become more contaminated with toxins, the more people
start experiencing the affects of the chemicals over burdening of
their bodies.
As one of the
founders of Grime Wizard, Danial, and more so his Wife, became chemically
sensitive from initially being over exposed to pesticides in the Midwest.
Danial's wife
is one of many people that have reached a point that even the smallest
exposure to chemical fragrances, dryer sheets, cleaners, and other
chemicals will trigger a life threatening reaction.
As we learned
more about what was happening to her, we started learning that what
was going on with her immune system was also happening to a very large
number of other people who were trying to cope with just living in
a safe environment.
Many people who
become chemically sensitive, become destitute and homeless as it becomes
impossible for them to live or work anywhere near other people or
population. The chemicals that are saturating our air, water, soil,
and living areas, is becoming a toxic soup that is going to eventually
make everyone extremely ill. Most MCS victims find it nearly impossible
to find a home, apartment, or even an automobile that they can tolerate
to be in or around.
There are documented
cases now of children who's behavior becomes unruly or destructive
and show signs of other mental and physical anomalies who get their
life back to normal once they are no longer exposed to all the chemicals
and fragrances that they are reacting to.
Think about all
the toxins you are introducing to your direct environment. Insecticides
sprayed in and around your home or business are transferred to your
furniture, bedding, carpets, clothing, and into your automobile. Artificial
fragrances which are filled with extreme toxins are added to just
about any product you purchase, including plastic trash liners, personal
products, soaps, cleaners, carpet cleaners, dish soaps, laundry cleaners,
dryer sheets, and even worse, made to plug into your electrical outlets
and continue to spray out or evaporate out into your living area.
All of these potentially deadly chemicals become a toxic soup as you
start mixing them all together in the air you breath, the food you
eat, and the high degree of absorption through the skin that takes
place as well.
Our goal at Grime
Wizard is to produce products that do an excellent job of cleaning
all the surfaces they are intended for but at the same time do not
contaminate your living environment, do not put off fumes of any kind,
and are free of toxins and artificial fragrances and colors.

is a product line dedicated to people that are sensitive to fragrances,
dyes, and dangerous or hazardous chemicals.
As we grow our
product line, each component and it's combination with others will
be looked at carefully to ensure that our products will be the best
for what they are designed for as well as be by design, capable of
being used by those with chemical sensitivities.
Our world is becoming
a chemical soup bowl that is constantly increasing in strength as
more products with these toxic chemicals are brought into the home
and work environment. Many of these chemicals do not just evaporate
and disappear from around us, but persist and continue to become stronger
and also combine with other chemicals to become who knows what as
an end result.
Buildings and
homes keep getting sicker as time goes on and eventually it won't
just be the few that become affected by these concentrations, but
by the many as the exposure becomes more intense.
Companies that
manufacture unscented products and scented product in the same working
environment get all the products cross contaminated. The packaging
as well gets contaminated along with the products. Artificial chemical
fragrances are tenacious and will contaminate everything in an enclosed
area. People that handle scented products touch everything else in
the same environment, and before you know it, everything is contaminated
with those chemicals.
Our shop does
not use any artificial fragrances in our products at all. We also
do not use artificial colors or dyes in our products either.
Even our water
supply used for mixing our Hi-Tech cleaning solutions is first distilled
to eliminate any possibility of contamination by municipal water and
the impurities found there. This eliminates the added poisons of fluoride,
chlorine, and other possible contaminates in our products.
